Tandem Fund

Our organization has grown since we started in 2015. We began our work with the broad goal of advancing international development. The acronym, AID Project, was meant to highlight our ongoing efforts to view development "aid" itself as an iterative "project" that needed to become better informed and more responsive.

This goal was built on our team's experiences in Haiti and the communities of Ile-à-Vache. During the first five years of our work together, we learned how broad, sustainable, and resilient change starts with community efforts.

Tande'm is a phrase in Haitian Creole that means listen to me. The phrase to work in tandem means to work together. Our goals as Tandem Fund are to promote initiatives within our communities and coordinate cooperative partnerships between them.
